University is getting closer, I'm so ready for this!

Later back in the year I wrote a post about what I'm looking forward to in 2015

So I've been on my college trip to France which was an absolutely amazing holiday, one I will never forget.

However, the other thing I was looking forward to was going to university. When I wrote back in January time I was only just thinking about university.... But now, I'm actually, really , truly going to Anglia Ruskin in Cambridge.

So surreal.

I didn't know if I'd get the grade I needed for the course (sports science) about 5 months ago. Though, about 3/4 weeks ago I finished my 2 Year college course of Level 3 Btec Sport and came out with a higher grade that I needed for uni (and of what I expected)... So I was in no matter what now.

I only have about 2 months until I move out to Cambridge. I'm nervous, scared, excited and just can't wait for the experience as a whole!

Since high school teachers are always like, "are you thinking of going to uni?" Or "do you know what you want to do in the future?" And every time my answer was 'I'm not sure". I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do...except from being in the sport industry.

I think asking so early on was a bit forward and I kind of felt a bit pressured into giving a set answer. I didn't know how my GCSE s would go or my college course so saying something and sticking with it was a bit difficult :').

I only applied for this uni course in January... Emphasis on 'only applied for this uni course'. I only applied for one university on a last minute thing, I was talking about it to a friend and they recommended the uni course, so I applied, just to see what happened. If we didn't have that conversation I wouldn't be writing this post.

I don't think that you or anyone else can plan exactly how your future is going to turn out. I guess you can give yourself a drafted route to walk along but you can't see what's in the distance until you take steps.

I have my finances sorted out. I've made little progress with packing. I've virtually met some of my flat mates. I also have my best friend living on the floor above me for the oncoming year.

Life is a roller coaster.

South of France trip 2015!

I recently had a two center college trip in the South of France. The trip was run through PGL, a very popular place for outdoor activities.

We left for France on the morning of Saturday 20th June 2015 at about 9am... for a 22 hour coach trip, what had I let myself in for, considering I get travel sickness!

We made it to Dover at about lunch time, ready for the ferry... Great, another type of travel to make me feel ill.

However, through taking travel sickness pills and wristbands I avoided it... Thankgod!

The longest part of the journey was travelling from Calais to Mimosa, our first center for activities. Saying I ached is only minimal.

We arrived Sunday morming in time for breakfast, got all our cases into our tents and set of to the beach for a chilled morning before going on the Pico boats that afternoon. A long and tiring day to say the least.

I'm not going to go through each day as that can turn to be pretty boring.

So after 3 nights in Mimosa we traveled down to Segries, after spending a few hours at Aqualand water park ofcourse!

Segries is where we canoed for 3 days in a row... I know it sounds a lot of work and how boring, but actually each day was completely different in its own little way. Each Corner you turned down the river was another magnificent view that I had to take a photo of (with my disposable camera (old school)). It was amazing hearing monkeys in the trees right beside us, unfortunately we didn't spot any but it was awesome just the same!

The last day that we canoed we also left to come back home to England!
I seriously did not want to leave... I would happily of stayed there for another week.

A bonus was that I acc tanned a little so I actually don't look like Snow White :').

This was the best holiday since I can remember... It will be one I wont forget, especially as I spend it with some amazing people!

It's sort of sad really though as most of us have now finished our college lives so won't be seeing each other most days. I wish them all good luck in the future!

Here are a few photos from the trip!

My Blend Active!

Being a sport student I know that I should be all healthy and fit but I wouldn't class my self as healthy. It's hard to eat well while at college as there is so much unhealthy foods which you just get drawn in by as there is nothing else.

However a couple of months ago I discovered the 'Blend Active'. I thought it looked amazing. I debated whether to buy it for a few weeks... I finally did and i'm so glad I did!

I absolutely love it! It's so easy to use, fill the bottle up with fruit and juices, put on the blender lid, blend, take the blender off and put on the lid and go, it's that simple!

It's great to help with your 5-a-day as you need at least 3 fruits to get a good amount of smoothie/drink.

For me I have one almost every morning as it gives me the kick start I need for the day. Also helping my mental health as I think that drinking that I need to exercise and eat more healthier foods which then helps me physically long term.

I feel like the Blend Active has made me the person I've wanted to be for months, fit, healthy and more confident with my body as it also helps the skin as it contains all the nutrients your body needs to look fresh!

Here are a few pictures of my Blend Active:

Now I know I cant just drink smoothies and be like 'oh yeh i'm so fit and healthy right now', but it definitely gets you on the right route to becoming those things!

I will definitely be taking this to university with me in September!

Let me know if you have a Blend active or thinking or getting one, tell me what you think of it!

March favourites ♡

Recently I have been loving some products and I'd like to share them with you!
Clinique liquid facial soap
I've been using this face wash for about 3 weeks now on most morning and night time routines. It has definitely reduced the size of my pores and has prevent any unwanted spots from coming through. I got this from a gift pack with a make-up bag i while back. However, I'm sure they still sell it, big recommendation.

Quick fix anti blemish mud facial mask.-£3.99
I was wondering around Boots a couple weeks back and I came to the face masks. I normally go for the single applicant masks in the packages but then I saw this. It contains up to 10 facials which for it's price at £3.99 isn't bad from having to pay 99p for a single treatment.
I use this mask about once a week so it should last me about 10 weeks... I say.
After use it makes my skin feel fresh and free of any dead cells and make-up residue. I tend to use it while relaxing in the bath as this gives it time to do what it needs to do in the 10-15 minutes.
If your having trouble picking a face mask, start with this as it's cheap and will last you a while!
....And there is enough to give your friends a facial too!

Jack Wills leggings-£19
I've been drooling over these leggings via the Jack Wills website for a long time and I finally purchased them last week! What can I say?... These are the comfiest leggings I have ever put my legs into! They are so soft and stretchy, I use them for laying around the house or if I'm just popping round a friends for the evening.
I will say that these were in the sale so they might not be in stock for long if your thinking of giving them ago. There are different designs as well but these struck out to me the most.

Rimmel London- Pillow Talk nail varnish
I've recently been getting into pastel colours again seeing as spring is here. I'm trying to revamp my look, maybe being a bit more adventurous with my style. However this nail polish, I have had so many positive comments for. I think because I have very pale skin it goes quite well instead of wearing a bright bold colour.

If you check out my instagram you can see how I have been adding pastel colours to my life!

Thanks for reading,

Northern Lights Bath Bomb by Lush

For Christmas I got a Northern lights Bath Bomb which is by lush from my friend who lives down in Devon.
Here are the pictures to show you what its like:

Normally it's not broken but it did this is the post.
Usually its a tall stick!

I love these colours!

I don't normally by myself bath bombs from Lush so it's always a real treat when I receive them as a gift.

It makes the bath feel slippery because of the oils in the bomb. This then makes your skin feel so soft. I've heard that the longer you stay in an oily bath the better your skin will feel... safe to say it does!

I highly recommend this!

let me know if you've tried it yourself and your opinion on it in the comments!

Christmas and New Years favourites ♡

Here are some of my favorite things I have bought and received throughout these 2 months during Christmas and the January sales! Here goes:

New Look SALE- Yellow cami top £5-
Never really gone for yellow but tried it out and I loooovee it!

Soap and Glory- This was out of a gift box but here is the price of it individually , £10.50.
This smells so good! I've been using this a while now and my skin is so soft! Definitely recommend!

Wallis SALE- £25, These were in the Wallis sale.
I've never owned a pair of black heeled boots so I gave it a go and they are extremely comfy!
Great with leggings or jeans.

Sam Smith Album- £6.00
Lately I have been loving his top songs like "Stay with me" so i decided to try out his
whole album... safe to say I can't stop listening to it in my car on the way to college!

Soap and Glory, Thick&Fast Mascara- £10
This also came in the Soap and Glory gift box. When I first tried it i was amazed!
My lashes look longer than when using my usual mascara, but most importantly for me
they weren't all stuck together, they actually looked fanned out, each lash separate from the rest.
I will definitely be making a second purchase!
