I used to be so into arts a crafts, especially when I was at school doing art. However, I didn't take art as a GCSE, I took sport instead which is what I've gone to do in college. So as a hobby I like to make small things that can go around the house, such as the sweet jar. This is how I did it.
All you need is:
- One clean jar (i used a marmalade jar)
- Scissors
- A small piece of fabric/cloth of your choice which is big enough to cover the lid part of the jar.
- Ribbon
- Most importantly you need sweeties of your choice!

This is all you need! |
How to do it
- Firstly clean out your jar well and dry it thoroughly.
- Take your fabric and place it round the top of the jar and make sure it isn't too big where it covers most of the jar or so it's too small that is won't cover the neck of the jar.
- Cut any parts of the fabric which may be fraying. You can always put a little glue on the areas which are prone to fraying.
- Put in your sweets or anything of your choice.
- Take your ribbon and wrap it around the neck of the jar, making sure the fabric is equal all the way around and they type into a bow.
Your completed sweet jar should look a little something like this!
